Who we are
Clarity Global Wealth ("we", "us", "our") is an information and introduction service for expats and internationally mobile people. We publish guides and tools and, where you ask us to, we introduce you to a regulated financial advisory firm. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website, why we collect it, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. It applies to the Clarity Global Wealth website and the enquiry, calculator and newsletter features on it.
The personal data we collect
We collect only what we need. Depending on how you use the site, that may include:
- Contact and enquiry details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, country or city of residence, and anything you write in the enquiry message.
- Calculator information: if you choose to save or have a calculator result reviewed, the email address (and, if you give it, first name) you enter, together with the figures you entered into that calculator and the result it produced. Giving these details is optional; the calculators work and show their results without them.
- Newsletter details: the email address you give if you sign up for updates.
- Website and analytics data: if you consent to analytics cookies, information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed and interactions, collected through Google Analytics. This is described in the Cookie Policy below. We do not send your name, email address or the figures you enter into calculators to our analytics.
We do not ask you to provide, and you should not send us, more sensitive information than is needed to deal with your enquiry.
Why we use your data, and our lawful bases
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before any arrangement, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To introduce you, where you ask us to, to a regulated financial advisory firm suited to your situation. Lawful basis: your request and our legitimate interest in operating our introduction service.
- To send you a calculator result or arrange for it to be reviewed, where you ask us to. Lawful basis: your request.
- To send you newsletter updates, where you have signed up. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To understand and improve how our website is used, where you consent to analytics cookies. Lawful basis: your consent.
- To keep proper records and meet any legal obligations that apply to us. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest and, where relevant, compliance with a legal obligation.
How we share your data
We do not sell your personal data.
The most important sharing to understand is this: where you ask us to arrange an introduction, or you make an enquiry that is an introduction request, we share the relevant details you have given us with the regulated advisory firm we introduce you to, so that they can contact you and provide their service. That firm becomes responsible for your data under its own privacy policy from the point it receives it. We will only share what is relevant to the introduction.
We also use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf and under our instructions, for example our website hosting and database provider, our email delivery and newsletter provider, and, where you consent, our analytics provider. These providers act as our processors and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
We may also disclose data where we are required to by law.
International transfers
Our service providers, and any advisory firm we introduce you to, may be located outside the country in which you live, including outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take steps intended to ensure it remains appropriately protected.
How long we keep your data
We keep your enquiry and lead data for as long as we are dealing with your enquiry or introduction, and afterwards until it is deleted. We do not currently delete it automatically after a set period, but you can ask us to delete it at any time by contacting hello@clarityglobalwealth.com, unless we are required to keep it to meet a legal obligation. If you unsubscribe from our newsletter, we stop sending it to you and mark your record as unsubscribed; we keep that record so that we do not email you again, and you can ask us to delete it. Analytics data is kept in line with our analytics provider's settings.
Your rights
Under data protection law you have rights over your personal data, including the right to ask for a copy of it, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask us to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and, where our use is based on your consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. You can exercise any of these by contacting hello@clarityglobalwealth.com. You also have the right to complain to the relevant data protection authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
Cookie Policy
How we use cookies
When you first visit our site you are asked to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Nothing that is not strictly necessary is set until you make that choice.
- Strictly necessary items: a small number of items are needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. These are always active and do not track you for marketing.
- Analytics cookies: only if you accept, we use Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) to understand how the site is used, so we can improve it. If you reject, these are not loaded and no analytics data is collected. We do not send your name, email address or the figures you enter into calculators to our analytics.
You can change your cookie choice at any time by selecting "" at the bottom of any page on this website. This reopens the cookie banner, where you can accept or reject analytics cookies. If you reject analytics cookies after accepting them, we delete the analytics cookies already set on your device. We remember your choice for 180 days and then ask you again.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary items may stop parts of the site working.
